Here is the question (use your math skill) :

I went to the market to buy some food.
I spent half of what i had plus $5 at the first store.
I spent half of what was left plus $4 at the second store.
At the third store, i spent half of the reminder plus $3.
Then i had $5 left in my pocket.
How much money did i start with ?

Vladb got it first, it was $90.

I spent half of what i had plus $5 at the first store = $45 + $5 = $50
$40 left

I spent half of what was left plus $4 at the second store. = $20 + $4 = $24
$16 left

At the third store, i spent half of the reminder plus $3. = $8 + $3 = $11
$5 left in my pocket.
