You cant say when a hyip become scam, the best thing you can do is dont put all the eggs in one basket, colect as much information as you can about your hyip and dont be greedy, you can survive ^^

that is a good idea, nobody can know exactly when they go away, your knowledge and experience help youself answer this question.

if you are new investor you should read more and more information if you are possible before investing, because the risk of hyips is very high

jedik1, here are some bad signs :

Some of the Stats were removed !
Slowing down in payouts !
Stopped Instant Withdrawals (if it started with Instant Withdrawals)
Stopped Paying "selective" members (especially Top Investors)
Introduced New Plans (not 100% TRUE, as some may have good reasons or aiming for program longevity)
No Support as usual !
Ban IP / Member (cannot login)
Lately, many sites had launched Referral Contests just before they closed !
