I agree with you, whenever you do involve in any business or in private matter, you will haev to consider the pros and cons... although you will sometimes just have it in your mind... it will be good enough....
of coz you can... in this modern world... most of the business runs paralel... you have to provide service when you are selling goods.. such as after sales service..
