We are happy to announce that the new debit cards are now ready for purchase. We are also very pleased that the 6-8 week delay we originally anticipated, ended up being much less. Having our contingency plan in place only caused our debit cards to be delayed 3 weeks from when the problem with the first supplier arose. All existing orders, as well as any new orders placed this weekend, will be placed with our supplier on Monday June 9th, and we will still only be charging $17.95 for new debit cards through the end of June. So now is the time to order your StrictPay Debit Card, before they go back up to regular price ($27.95) on July 1st.

Due to switching companies there will be a some changes that we would like to go over:

...The new StrictPay Debit Card will be a Visa brand instead of MasterCard. It is still superior to just an ATM card, and will be able to be used for retail purchases from merchants worldwide.

...The percentage to load the debit card will be less than on our original card. We will now only charge 2% + $3.00 for every load, as opposed to the flat 3% fee that we charged with the original card. The new maximum balance is lower than it was with the old card, and we felt it would be right to offset this by lowering the load fee. We have researched the few major payment processors that offer a branded debit card, and we feel like we have the lowest load fee in the industry.

...The maximum daily withdraw limit from an ATM has risen from $500 to $2500.

...The new card offers free online access to your debit account. They still offer live telephone support, but there is a $1.50 charge.

...The monthly maintenance fee was reduced from $4.95 to $3.95.

...The ATM balance inquiry fee went down to $.50 from the $2.00 charged on the original card.

...The ATM withdrawal fee for U.S. members went down from $3.50 to $1.50, and for our international members it will only be $3.00.

...And finally, signature based POS purchases went up to $.50 each, but we think that is a small price to pay for all the other lower fees.

Looking at all the advantages to the new company, you might likely wonder why we did not choose them in the first place. There was one major behind the scenes change that causes us to have to do a lot more work, but in the end it has been worth the extra time investment to be able to offer you a strong solution to help manage your funds more easily. So in the end, a little adversity actually benefited our members, and that is always a good thing.

We really appreciate everyone's understanding and kind words during this trying time. It means a lot to us that our members know we were trying hard to remedy a tough situation, and that's why we decided to continue offering the new debit cards at a lower price for awhile longer to say thank you. So be sure to get your new StrictPay Debit Card ordered now while you can still save $10.

A Quick Reminder

All members that purchased the debit card before our announcement on 5/29/08 received a full refund of 27.95 in their StrictPay account. As a way of saying sorry for the delay we decided to give each of these 46 members a free debit card for the inconvenience.

Since the announcement on 5/29/08 of the free cards along with the announcement of the reduced price for all new purchases in June we have had many of the 46 free card members purchase the card again at 17.95. We have refunded the duplicate purchases to your StrictPay accounts as well.

If you purchased a card before the announcement email on the 5/29/08 you will receive your card for free, and there is no need to repurchase the card.

If you have not yet purchased your StrictPay Visa debit card you can do so for the reduced price of 17.95 until 6/30/08. On 7/1/08 the cost of the debit card will return to the normal price of 27.95

The first card order is being sent in this Monday along with the replacement order for anyone that already had the other card.

We are happy to announce a new funding option that can now be used at StrictPay. Members can now fund their StrictPay account by way of PayProNet.

When you fund using your PayProNet account you will be charged 5% plus $1.89. The time frame to have the funds added to your account will always vary, as PayProNet states that the process takes 2 to 3 days. Once we have the funds from PayProNet then we will fund your account. This time frame will always depend on PayProNet, and how fast they get the wire to us. If for any reason we do not receive a wire from PayProNet after their stated time frame, we will inform the pending members, and they will need to contact PayProNet to resolve the issue.
