Default Creating a Boot Floppy

To create a bootable floppy from within WindowsXP:

1. Insert a floppy into the A: drive
2. Open the Explorer
3. Right click on the A: Drive
4. Select Format
5. Check Create an MS-DOS startup disk
6. Click on the Start button
7. This will create a Millennium boot disk

Boot disk nowadays only useful when we don;t have any other way to retrieve or backup our files. Imagine our file in C: and we cannot login Windows, and no other way to do than format. So the best way to take the files and copy to D: for backup is by bootdisk. Whether we wannna use CD or diskette, it's depend

That's nice you ever studied that, at least you got some knowledge about it too. And it's better than we don;t know and don;t have xperience or studied it before.

If you understand DOS, than you can more easily understand Win98, Win Xp and so on. because the basic is with DOS. Long time ago, if we wanna copy files for example, all that we must type with keyboard. Not like today, we're just use mouse and make a few clicks only.

So it's far different now compared the earlier era of computer many years ago. And i still remember, first time i know PC, it was MS DOS 3.1 that time. Still don;t have windows. Not long after that, Win 95 been introduce by Microsoft. Whooaa, it's very sophisticated that time!!!!! Everybody been amazed with that Windows and it is first time Microsoft distribute OS that using GUI (Graphical User Interface). And this idea came from Apple computer, McOs.

Is this one for WinXP? I never know that winXP can be run in DOS. Previously I use win98 for my CC, so I know little things about DOS, But now I use winXP for my CC so I have forgotten many thing about DOS.

you can run dos in windows os if you had installed DOS for windows or you can install both os Dos and win os. somw time we can not repair software or just want to scan pc by dos. this way is very safe to pc and it can detect almost dangerous viruses.
