I had a lot of problems with my computer reading some cds or movies and audio was either not there or sounded like chipmunks. I got frustrated and reinstalled windows xp and now registry errors keep popping up. it even crshes some of my programs, I have several registry cleaners installed but these errors still prevail. any ideas.

regsitry error with fresh installation of win xp, it cannot be unless you edited the registry manually. and the sound of your computer has nothing to do with the registry, try updating your audio driver, it may solve your problem.

are you sure from the version of xp you installed just check it

you must test your cd rom first to make sure it not the cause
i mean change it with new one

Try using a fresh copy of windows xp CD. May be the cd you are using is corrupted.
