with advanced NTFS file security, you are able to grant or deny access to certain files or folders or drives in the system to users.

here are the steps

start --> run --> regedit --> HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\lsa\forcegue st

change the value to 0.

default value is 1.


you need to be admin of the system to do that.

i think NTFS security is very to use. You don't need to do that

but advanced security for ntfs is not there. to check whether it is there or not right click on any files or folders you see security in the options, it is in advanced mode otherwise it is not.

I actually need not use that. I have no danger from my family, but from the hacker online. I believe it cannot prevent hacking.

Could you sayd more a bout NTFS and security. This format is really safer?.(sorry, i beleave in you but most of us like FAT32)
