what are the advantage of upgrading to xp sp2.

you will be more secure , you will be able to install internet explorer 7 and windows defender , you will be able to install windows media 11 , most of the upcoming microsoft applications will work only on widnows vista and windows xp service pack 2 so you have to upgrade your service pack

i'm still using Windows XP Sp1, lol, It's ok. No need to upgrade.

Well the SP 2 have more secruty and more features.
I am not exaclt sure about that wehat exactly they have.
But i hav read one thing one many sites that theya re good to make you cvomputer more secrue and realiable.

Some of programs is sp2 needed and if you want to run these programs you have to upgrade.

I do not know much about sp2 usage. There was one Nokia software that needed spe support, and I tried to download it several times, but failed.

more secure , and you won't have to install all the other drivers for the devices on motherboard . Sp 2 already has a lot of drivers

Yes i feel that XP SP2 is much more stable and realiable and also the security is much better than SP1.
