I want to change my cpu to a server for hosting my own site. how to do that. Is it possible. Anybody know how to change it. Help me out.

there is nothing to change. Just install webserver apache+php+mysql and all be ok. Maybe buy UPS, need good internet connection and all be ok...

it is possible to have a hosting server or start to host your own website but the spending is much more then what you will get, you have to have a good internet connection as well as a good power backup.

i think we can do that. Its good and i think many people will love it and i also love it. but i don't know how to do that. Thats it..

install webserver. And open port for outsider to get into ur website.

i don't recomend you to do that i think you host your site ate a profistional host cause you need so much powerful computer and so much fast speed so your site work functionaly good so even when you can use your computer as a host your site won't be fast and you will lose vistors

well u need a good server and install windows 2000 os becasu i have used it and test it as a webserver then u need a cpanle max 10/10 mb net speed and backup stuff ups that is it

you can ask admin, he knows how to do this. you will need a IP public.

I read it somewhere, first one we make a site then command the net ISP to get a inactive IP.

i think you will install some porgrames but i don't think you have to chang your cpu
