I have used this trick earlier and it did not increased my internet speed. I then found out that this trick works only in case of dial up users. Since i have a broadband connection so it did not worked for me.

u need edit windows registrys to remove this 20% protection
Its work very well. U can do a trick to increase ur upload speed. ill try find the link of tutorial and ill post here

i don''t think this will make your internet speed any better cause this is about the lan transfere and most of the lans are 100 mega bite speed so if windwos reserved 20% of them do you think that will give you any more internet speed i don't think so i think this trick effect if your intenet connection that come throught he lan is 100 mega connection and hey no body have this connection ...that is my opinion thank you for sharing
